Maria Eagan

Maria Demetra Egan, MBA
Partner, Director of Financial Advising and Shareholder Engagement

Maria (she/her) advises individuals, families, trusts, and charitable institutions, aligning portfolios with each client’s needs and values. She has been with Reynders, McVeigh since 2010, and is currently an Investment Committee member, directs the Firm’s shareholder engagement work, and serves as Trustee for clients. Maria is also a member of the Marketing & New Business, Wealth Management, and Human Resources & Compliance committees.

Maria is most energized by her client relationships and brings nearly 15 years of experience in financial advising and wealth management to this work. She enjoys mentoring colleagues, managing and developing advisors/Portfolio Managers, and continually enhancing the client experience. She occasionally guest lectures on ESG/impact investing at Boston-area universities and has supported the Social Innovation Forum, an organization that connects nonprofits with funders, and has been involved with The Boston Foundation. She completed the Boston Marathon to raise money for St. Francis House, and held volunteer leadership roles at the Transformative Culture Project which helps youth and adult artists create social and economic power through their art.

Maria earned a BA and MBA from Clark University, a certificate in community development finance from  the Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire, and participated in Rutgers Business School’s Corporate Social Responsibility Certificate Program. She is also a registered Investment Adviser Representative (Series 65).

She and her husband, Brian, live in Boston with their daughters Penelope, Sophia, and Helene; outside the office she enjoys her book club, the beach, and skiing.
