Eric Sample, CFA
Partner, Director of Investment Strategy

Eric oversees the implementation of Reynders, McVeigh’s overall investment strategy, leads fixed-income research and portfolio construction, and serves on the Investment Committee. He also steers institutional business development, including managing referral networks, overseeing inflows, and informing portfolio construction and performance attribution. Prior to joining the Firm in 2012, Eric worked at The Colony Group. He holds a BS in finance from Bentley University and is a CFA® Charterholder.

Eric also chairs the firm’s Business Development & Marketing Task Force, co-chairs the Operations & Technology Committee, and serves on the Finance Committee and Wealth Management Task Force; as well as being Assistant Treasurer. He’s motivated by finding compelling investment opportunities and by the firm’s longstanding focus on sustainable investing and employee alignment, uniting performance with purpose for clients.

Beyond the office, he’s a member of the Newport Festivals Foundation, an avid concert goer, and an enthusiastic golfer and skier, and he enjoys time with his family, including two young daughters.
